about the artist

Ksenia Yolk is an Estonian illustrator based in Tallinn. She specialises in digital illustration, watercolour, and acrylic painting, blending modern techniques with traditional artistry. Drawing inspiration from nature, everyday life, and emotional narratives, Ksenia creates versatile and imaginative works that captivate viewers with depth and charm.

Ksenia is a freelance artist whose work has been exhibited in Estonia, Russia, England, and Sweden, with pieces held in private collections in Japan, Sweden, and England. She previously collaborated with the now-closed Plug Magazine as an illustrator, and has created artwork for craft breweries including Tuletorn, Anderson’s Brewery, and Nurme Brewery.

Every artwork Ksenia creates tells its own story, often infused with a touch of fairy tale magic. Some of her abstract pieces are inspired by her dreams, forming the foundation for new creations. Her distinctive style began to take shape during her studies at Southampton Solent University’s School of Art and Design.
